I heard them outside the corridor again last night. Not footsteps exactly. More like something dragging itself softly across the marble, trying not to be heard. The others pretend the sounds are normal, but nobody sleeps anymore. I checked the records this morning and three names were gone. No deletion logs. No permissions changed. Just absence. One of them told me not to keep personal notes anymore. He said memory becomes dangerous when the system starts forgetting people on purpose. I tried praying but the static answered first.
